Equipment
DRG Sound uses only JBL speakers and QSC amplifiers in our DJ rig. These brands have been used by more major touring acts and high end installations than any other for decades now. They are unmatched in reliability and performance, performance is EVERYTHING at DRG Sound!
In our professional DJ rig, we run the new Numark DDS80 hard disc player. This piece of equipment is state of the art. It gives us the ability to access any of our over 10,000 songs within seconds, as well as DVD/CD/MP3 play back ability. Our processing equipment consists of the DBX Driverack PA, and a DBX 215 Graphic Equilizer. This processing gives us total control of the audio quality at your event regardless of ambient conditions. All audio signals are mixed through a Denon DN-X800 four channel DJ mixer. We only use the high quality Shure PX 58 wireless microphone systems to ensure every word of every toast and well wish is heard by all in attendance.
DRG sound uses only eco-friendly LED lighting fixtures that use a fraction of the electricity of conventional fixtures. This means we can set up our full lighting rig on one 15 amp circuit, making us way more flexible than many of the other guys. We can give any space a raging club atmosphere all night long!
Dance Floor Lighting Gear
We use a 10 foot truss system adorn with two LED par 64 color changing cans for a bright color wash over the dance floor. Next, we have two American DJ Revo I LED moon flower effect fixtures for multi color beams scanning the entire floor. Our center piece is a Chauvet LED Kinta X. This fixture shoots extremely bright beams over a huge area. The star of our rig is the Chauvet VUE III LED fixture. This thing is like looking at fireworks inside! I spent years as a concert and theater lighting director, and I can tell you this is the coolest light I have ever seen! Of course no self respecting lighting rig would be complete without a fog machine. We use the Chauvet Hurricane 650 for this all important duty. It never lets us down!
Up Lighting Gear
We use 10 ColorKey Black Par 64 DMX cans, with DMX lighting controller to produce an elegant atmosphere in any venue. We can mix and match any colors you want!
Custom Gobo Lighting
We use the industry leading Martin Mania PR-1 Goba Lighting Projector. This is far and away the best custom gobo projector in the business!
